The Tenant by Freida McFadden

The Tenant

Blake is suddenly fired from his job as a VP of marketing and he’s unable to make his mortgage payments. He and his fiancée Krista decide to take in a lodger. Whitney is a waitress at a nearby restaurant and she seems perfect. Once Whitney moves in, strange things start happening. When Blake finds a temp job, his dress shirts make his skin itch and he suspects that Whitney uses a detergent with something he’s allergic to, and other things like rotting food in the fridge. Blake is convinced Whitney is out to get him and to add insult to injury Krista leaves him.

This thriller had me on the edge of my seat throughout. I have read all of Freida McFadden’s books and liked them all; her writing style is appealing and the books are quick reads. I just wonder how she manages to publish several books a year, but I’m not complaining!
