Each chapter of this book covers a 90 minute orbit around earth, 16 orbits in the 24 hours that the book describes.
This novel describes 24 hours in the International Space Station. The people aboard are two Russian cosmonauts, and four astronauts from Japan, the United States, Britain, and Italy. There are four men, and two women aboard the space craft.
The chapters are like separate short stories, and they’re all linked because of the people on the ISS.
I liked the book, but I didn’t love it. Some of the characters were really interesting – but a little superficial. I may have to read it again to get more out of it…
