Follow Me

Adrienne Shaw’s twin sister Chiara went missing after she attends a mommy influencer weekend. Chiara, the mother of twin boys, had gone viral on instagram when she posted a tongue in cheek photo with a hashtag about micro dosing, and was invited to the event.

It’s almost a year later and Chiara still has not been found. The police seem to think that she’s just up and left her life to go to Canada. Though Chiara was suffering from postpartum depression, Adrienne is certain she would never leave her boys. She didn’t even want to take antidepressants whilst she was breastfeeding: that’s how much she was willing to give up for her babies. Adrienne is convinced something bad has happened to Chiara.

Adrienne decides to go undercover at the mommy influencer event this year to find out what happened the year before. She books a 2 day stay and starts preparing for the event by buying clothes she would normally never wear, revamping her blog (now about her non-existent children instead of gay bars), and she stops drinking and doing drugs.

The ranch in Northern California is welcoming, the women are all akin to Stepford wives. Will Adrienne find out what happened to her sister?

I really enjoyed this book, it was dark, witty and I could see it happening…
