Book 4 of the Erika Foster series
The tortured body of a young woman is found in a dumpster, and Erika Foster is the first on the scene. However, it is not her case – but Erika being Erika fights for a spot on the team that investigates the murder. While she tries to do this, she cannot help herself and starts investigating. She soon learns that the killer approaches the women he hunts online, using the photo of someone else to attract pretty young women. When another young woman is abducted while waiting for a date with this mysterious date, Erika and her team must make sure to catch him before the young woman dies.
Another excellent instalment of the Erika Foster series. I love this series: Erika who has a sort of relationship with Peterson, the gay Kate Moss, who is married and has a child. Isaac, the gay pathologist, and Erika’s late husband’s best friend Marsh who is Erika’s superior. I like all the characters, maybe not too fond of Marsh and his wife… Robert Bryndza keeps you on the edge of your seat in every book of the series!
