Christopher Paolini (born Nov 17, 1983) is an American author famous for writing the Inheritance Cycle (beginning with Eragon), which he started at 15. Homeschooled in Montana, he published Eragon at 19 with his family before it became a bestseller. He writes both fantasy and sci-fi, including Murtagh (2023).
