The House Keeper by Natalie Barelli

The House Keeper

Claire sees Hannah at the hair dresser’s and is still enraged with her. Ten years ago, Hannah accused Claire’s father of sexual misconduct and Claire’s family fell apart. She sets out to take revenge on Hannah and applies as the house keeper. Hannah doesn’t recognise her, and why would she. Claire used to be a pretty blonde doll like teenager and now she’s an overweight twenty-something with bad skin and an alcohol problem.

I enjoyed this thriller, I like Barelli’s writing style and the plot was decent. Four stars.
