This is book 6 of the Dexter Series
While he is dismembering a pedophile in an abandoned house, Dexter sees a witness flee the scene in an old battered Honda. In true Dexter Morgan fashion, he does his best to find this witness, and his wife Rita suspects he is having an affair. His sister Deborah is fully emerged in a murder case. When Dexter’s colleague Camilla Figg is found beaten to death, all the signs point to Dexter being the murderer. He’s being set up by the witness, who he calls the Shadow.
This is another one where you sit on the edge of your seat, hoping Dexter does not get caught – because even though he’s a killer, you can’t help but like him.
