Sally is not looking for a relationship when she meets up with Harry, but after a few dates, she realises she has feelings for him. However, those warm feelings turn to intense hate when Harry disappears with all of Sally’s savings (over $40 000). She makes it her mission to find Harry and steal the money back.
When Sally discovers a friend is being abused by her partner, she decides to teach him a lesson. Her friend Marie is initially upset about this, but does take this opportunity to get out of the relationship.
Another friend of Sally’s is worried about a young trainee at the company who needs help because her superior has assaulted her and is pressuring her to take drugs.
All these wronged women come together and start a club, talking about their revenge… and then taking it.
I enjoyed this book, it was dark, and funny in places. The revenge part of it was understandable, however, too many of them turned up dead…
