In this auto-biography Sir Patrick Stewart tells us about his childhood, his family, his start as an actor, Star Trek, and his love life.
Stewart was well known as a stage actor, he joined the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1966 before he joined the Star Trek universe as Captain Jean-Luc Picard from 1987 to 1994 in the Next Generation and from 2020 to 2023 in Picard, He still played major parts with the Royal Shakespeare Company between 2006 and 2011. He played Charles Xavier in the X-Men series between 2000 and 2017. In the latter series of films, he and fellow actor Ian McKellen became close friends and he does talk about that as well in this book.
I listened to the audiobook which was narrated by Patrick Stewart himself and really enjoyed it.
