Biologist Alex Carter moves to Montana to study wolverines in their natural habitat. She is run off the road and threatened by some of the locals who don’t want the wildlife sanctuary in their town. Alex isn’t deterred and accidentally stumbles upon an illegal operation that could cost her her life.
Someone on one of my book groups on Facebook recommended this book and I’m glad they did. Alex is a great protagonist, smart and tough as nails. The storyline is wild, yet believable and I really enjoyed this book. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
