Normal People by Sally Rooney

At school Connell and Marianne don’t talk to each other but when he comes to pick up his mother from her housekeeping job at Marianne’s house the two bond. When they’re both at college, at Trinity in Dublin, Marianne has a social life and Connell is on the outside.

This book wasn’t for me, the people were well developed but I didn’t particularly like them and I thought the book was quite boring. Two and a half stars rounded up to three.
