Iris Winnow returned from the front two weeks ago. She’s alone and doesn’t know whether her husband Roman Kitt is dead or alive. She doesn’t have her Alouette type writer, so she cannot send him messages.
Roman was wounded, and remains behind enemy lines – in the camp of the God Dacre, who healed him and erased his memories. Dacre uses him to write articles for him, and once the first article appears in the newspaper Iris knows he’s alive. When a mysterious note appears in Roman’s room, his memories are slowly returning.
As the war between the forces of Dacre and the forces of Enva rages, will Iris and Roman find each other again?
This was an excellent read. It was a good conclusion to Iris and Roman’s love story… though there could be a sequel… and I for one would love to see the story continue.
