Winter Young is a Chinese American superstar who is recruited by a private spy organisation called Panacea for a specific mission because the daughter of master criminal and millionaire Eli Morrison, Penelope, has asked for a private performance at her birthday bash in the UK as she is a massive fan. He is partnered with Sydney Cossette, who has been with Panacea for a while even though she is only 19.
I chose this book for picked without reading the blurb because I normally love Marie Lou’s books even if I’m not her target audience by a long way. I like her writing style and her subjects.
Even though I enjoyed this book, I have a few gripes:
- A 19 year old spy with several years experience?
Olivine is another name for Peridot and is found on earth, I think you meant Moldavite…
All in all, I’d have to give this book 3.5 stars, and I rounded up because well her other books.
