Book 2 of The Seven Sisters Series
Alcyone ‘Ally’ is the second eldest of the D’Aplièse sisters. She’s a talented flautist and sailor. At the start of the book, Ally starts working for the charismatic Theo Falys-King in the Aegean. When the two are on a romantic getaway on Theo’s personal yacht, Ally spots Pa Salt’s yacht The Titan in the area. However, when she tries to contact Pa Salt, she is unable to. A few hours later, she’s told that Pa Salt has passed away. Ally then hurries to Atlantis, her childhood home on the Lake of Geneva to meet up with her sisters.
Afterwards, Ally returns to Theo as they were going to sail a competition together – but tragedy strikes again and Theo dies in a yachting accident. Ally is grief-stricken and eventually decides to follow the clues Pa Salt has left her to find her biological family.
Ally’s search leads her to Norway, where she learns about her ancestor, the talented singer Anna Landvik who was married to Jens Halvorsen, and who also knew Evard Grieg. Ally learns she has a twin, Thom Halvorsen, who is a very talented musician as well.
Every book of The Seven Sisters series is fabulous and this one had me captivated from the start!
