Thorn in my Side is the fourth instalment in the Sweetpea series about female serial killer Rhiannon Lewis.
Rhiannon is dead and loving it! As far as the world knows she was shot dead by her sister Seren in Vermont, but she’s living with her fiancé Raf in San Diego under the assumed name Ophelia Jane White. Raf and Ophelia’s wedding has been postponed 4 times because of the pandemic, however, they are still going strong.
Rhiannon has not killed in over 800 days when the book starts, and you have to wonder, can she keep it up?
Meanwhile in the UK, the policewoman who investigated the sweetpea murders is not convinced Rhiannon is dead and starts telling the world of her suspicions.
When Raf’s friend Billy comes over for Raf and Ophelia’s wedding, she is convinced he has recognised her, but will he tell anyone?
This book is as funny as the first in the series and deserves five stars! I can’t wait for the 5th in the series (I really hope there will be one!).
