When the Moon Hatched by Sarah A Parker

When the Moon Hatched

Book 1 of Moonfall

Raeve is an Elding Blade for the  Fíur du Ath – which means that her job is to kill. A bounty hunter is set to capture a member of the Ath – and he captures Raeve. Now she is at the mercy of the Guild of Nobles and she is sentenced to death by dragonfire. A mysterious man, a king, visits Raeve in the dungeons – he seems to think she’s someone else. On the day of her execution, the king’s dragon grabs Raeve and takes her to his kingdom. Even though he has set her free and she is madly attracted to him, Raeve does not trust Kaan Vaegor because he is one of the Vaegor kings. Will Raeve remember who she is?

This book was fantastic. I really enjoyed Raeve’s witty sassiness. You can feel throughout the book that Kaan is a good guy and you have to keep guessing until the end what’s going on and who is who.

Excellent world building and I cannot wait for the sequel!
