Aurora Teagarden Mysteries book 8
Aurora and her stepsisters in law are supposed to meet during a meeting of the Uppety Women. Roe and Melinda are there, but Poppy is not. After the meeting Roe finds the murdered Poppy Queensland just outside her house, in her back yard. After she and Melinda have been questioned by the police, Roe goes in search of Poppy’s husband and finds him with his mistress.
Roe can’t stop herself from sleuthing again, and of course she finds the killer. Her relationship with Robin gets more serious and her half-brother Phillip arrives unexpectedly in Lawrenceton. The fifteen year old hitchhiked across the country to get to his sister because he’s upset with his parents.
Another perfect cozy mystery by Charlaine Harris. I like that Phillip is back, he seems like a great kid. One little discrepancy though, five years ago in the books, he was six years old. But that’s the only issue I have with the book 😉
