Atlas, The Story of Pa Salt by Lucinda Riley & Harry Whittaker

Atlas, The Story of Pa Salt

Book 8 of The Seven Sisters Series

In the last book of the Seven Sisters series, we learn about Pa Salt, and why he adopted these girls.

Born in Russia, Atlas Tanit fled the country and ended up in France where he met the sculptor Paul Landowski who created the statue of Christ the Redeemer. Landowski takes him in and nurtures his talent as the young boy who goes by the name Bo D’Aplièse is an excellent violinist.
Throughout the book, Bo is running away from Kreeg Eszu, his childhood friend. Kreeg thinks Altas (or Bo as we know him in the book) killed his mother and has sworn he will kill him. Kreeg is the father of Zed, Maia’s flame when she was at university. Zed also tried to seduce Tiggy, and had a on-off friends with benefits relationship with Electra.

Sadly, Lucinda Riley passed away in June 2021 before she could finish this last book. Her son Harry Whittaker went through her extensive notes and co-wrote this book.

I enjoyed learning more about Pa Salt, and the connections to all the biological families of the girls he later adopted. His own love story is heartbreaking. I don’t want to put spoilers in this review in case you haven’t read the book yet. I will say that I liked the ending.
