Book 6 of the Erika Foster series
A beautiful burlesque dancer is brutally slain and found on her own doorstep by her mother. Erika Foster and her brilliant team are on the case. They learn that the beautiful young woman had a stalker, and the photos and videos this man has taken give the team some suspects. But when they see the CCTV footage from a nearby camera, they realise their prime suspect cannot have done it.
Erika is like a pitbull though, and doesn’t let go until she’s got her man.
This is yet again another excellent instalment in the Erika Foster series. I like the Erika character – like me, she’s an immigrant in the UK (unlike me she has dual nationality) and she’s settled in nicely. Unfortunately her husband passed away on an op she lead to catch some criminals. Erika is still quite raw and in mourning, though she has thrown herself in the arms of Peterson, who is on her team, a few times. Sadly that relationship fizzled out, and she’s alone again.
A great read like the other books in the series.
