Book 2 of the Sweetpea Series
Rhiannon is pregnant by AJ who she killed when he found out about her secret (she’s a serial killer). However, her fiancé Craig and his parents think the child is his. Rhiannon framed Craig for her kills and while he’s in prison, Rhiannon is staying with his parents. Detective Inspector Nnedi Géricault isn’t convinced of Craig’s guilt, she is looking at Rhiannon for the murders. Rhiannon leaves Craig’s parents’ house and decides to leave the country after her daughter is born.
The humour in the book is dark, and I so love the series because of this. It’s an excellent continuation of Sweetpea. This was a re-read for me because I wanted to review the entire series on this blog. I listened to the audiobook this time and it’s an exceptional adaption, narrated by Georgia McGuire.
