When Margo Millet gets pregnant by her (married) English professor, she decides she wants to keep the baby. Her mother, a Hooters waitress and a single mother herself, is not very supportive and more interested in her new beau. When the baby is born, Margo loses her waitressing job and that puts a financial strain on her – especially when two of her roommates decide to move out as well. Margo is not sure how to make ends meet and emails the father of her baby and leaves her own father a voicemail message. The mother of Bodhi’s father contacts Margo and offers her a substantial amount of money if she signs an NDA.
Then her father ex-wrestler Jinx shows up on her doorstep. Jinx is fabulous with his grandson and he decides to move into one of the free rooms in Margo’s apartment. He also gives her an idea to make money: OnlyFans. Margo initially offers people to rate dick pics and tell the men which Pokemon it is for a few dollars. This draws in a few men, but not enough to make ends meet. When Margo thinks up a fabulous script to perform with a few other ladies on OnlyFans, they go viral and Margo is doxxed. Then everything goes tits up!
I enjoyed this book. It’s funny and quite credible – I can see how Margo was struggling even when she was still waitressing. I can’t wait to watch the TV show!
