My Husband’s Wife by Alice Feeney

My Husband’s Wife

Eden Fox returns home after a run and the key to her house doesn’t fit the lock anymore. When she rings the doorbell, a woman opens the door. The woman looks a little like her, and claims to be Eden Fox. And to make matters worse, her husband Harrison Woolf tells her that the imposter in her house is his wife, Eden Fox.

Eden is questioned by the police, but they don’t believe that the stranger in her house isn’t Eden Fox as she’s been introducing herself to the people in town as such. Eden knows there’s only one person who will be able to confirm her identity: her daughter. However, there’s one hitch, her daughter hasn’t spoken in a decade.

Meanwhile, the woman who inherited the house Eden lived in has come back to town as well. Birdy inserts herself into the investigation much to the town’s policeman’s dismay.

This was an excellent read with a good twist. I did not like the Eden character but Birdy was very interesting. I didn’t see the twist coming though.
