Sleep Like a Baby by Charlaine Harris

Sleep Like a Baby

Aurora Teagarden Mysteries book 10

Aurora and Robin have welcomed their daughter Sophie in the beginning of the book. Roe is definitely suffering from baby brain and is absolutely smitten with the baby, as is Robin.

When Robin has to leave for a few days, and Roe is feeling ill, they hire the nurse who helped them after Roe had just had Sophie to look after the baby at night. Roe’s cold turns into full blown flu and between feedings, she’s pretty much dead to the world. One morning, she wakes up, feeling a little better, but the nurse Virginia is gone! When looking for her, Roe’s half brother Phillip finds the body of a woman in the backyard. However, the woman is not Virginia!

I was kind of sad when starting to read this book because I know this is the last one of the series. So while Roe embarked on her new life as a new mum, I knew this would be her last adventure sadly. The plot is as good as any of the other books in the series, the gushing over the miracle baby aside (which is to be expected for a new mum. Anyway, this one is a five star read as well!
