Rhiannon Davis is back! Her husband is seriously wounded in a shooting because a Karen (my apologies to all the lovely Karens out there) refused to wear a face mask. Apart from being a gun to tiny looney the woman was also a racist and had been verbally abusing both Rhiannon and Raf previously. With Raf in hospital, Rhiannon is at her wits end when she learns her daughter Ivy is very ill – or is it a ploy to get her back to the UK?
Rhiannon goes back to the UK to find out and runs into some trouble with an unexpected new friend.
An excellent continuation of the Sweetpea series – book 6. I can’t wait for the next one in the series.
