The marriage offers Tru, her mother and her sisters a new start and answers about her father’s disappearance. In turn, Tru has to live with him in the sea, in his palace and he needs her help to overthrow the evil, tyrannical dragon king.
Elizabeth Lim tells beautiful stories based on mythology and fairy tales. I absolutely fell in love with Spin the Dawn and will buy any of her books without even reading the blurb.
This book was a wonderful read, it gave Beauty and the Beast vibes as well as the Little Mermaid (mainly because of the location). However, it was original! I have a special hardcover edition of this book on order (Fairyloot) and I can’t wait to see it!
