Book 1 of the Blue is for Nightmares series.
Stacey is at boarding school and she’s having a hard time. She’s plagued by nightmares about her roommate and friend Drea’s death. To add insult to injury, she keeps wetting the bed when she has these nightmares. Stacey tries to warn Drea, because the last time she had dreams like these, they came true and the girl she babysat died.
Drea doesn’t really believe her. Stacey is freaked out by the guy who keeps calling Drea at all hours of the day – especially when she finds out that Drea doesn’t know who he is.
I had built this series up in my head for years – it has been on my wish list for close to a decade. The main character Stacey is a witch and I like those kinds of books. I was a little disappointed with this one though – I found Stacey a little too meek.
I have the audiobooks of the remainder of the series so I will listen to them… and hope she becomes witchier.
