This book is set in 1978, a serial killer is on the loose and he has terrorised women across the Pacific North West. Pamela Schumacher, a student in Tallahassee, Florida, is awoken by a sound at 3 am, and she finds two of her sorority sisters killed, and two others were maimed.
When Tina Cannon finds out about the attacks in Tallahassee, she travels to Florida to meet up with Pamela, because she suspects it’s the same killer as the one who murdered her girlfriend Ruth.
I thought the storyline sounded familiar, I was thinking of Ted Bundy when Ms Knoll described the attacks in Tallahassee in this book. Bundy isn’t mentioned by name in the book, the murderer is referred to as the defendant. However, it is pretty clear that the book is based on his crimes. The similarities are evident.
This book was a fab read!
