Alex Andros is now back in the Covenant and following classes. She is still training with Aiden, to whom she is attracted. However, relationships between a pure blood and a half blood is forbidden and they – no, she – would suffer severe consequences if they ever got together. Meanwhile, the Appolyon Seth is always hanging around because Alex’ fate is linked to his as she’s the second Appolyon when she turns eighteen.
Seth appears to be attracted to Alex, he often spends the night in her bed (as a friend not a lover). The connection with Seth has advantages, for instance Alex is not plagued by nightmares about her mother’s demise when he’s with her. Now all Alex has to do is stay alive until her 18th birthday but there are people who want her dead…
I am really liking this series. I’ve heard people saying it’s a rip off of the Vampire Academy series, which I have not read… so I guess I’d like that series too. 😁
