Fifty year old Agatha Doyle has it all: a loving husband, two grown sons, and she’s a successful author of historical fantasy. But then menopause hits and she doesn’t know what hit her: hot flashes, insomnia, brain fog and all sorts of symptoms no one tells you about. To add insult to injury, her husband has hired a drop dead gorgeous woman to help out in his cafe and Agatha is suspicious of this beauty.
While at a conference, Agatha loses control and has a rant about menopause and the video of this goes viral. As a consequence, Agatha is invited to speak about menopause and even makes a TV appearance.
Geraghty’s writing is witty and this book made me giggle quite a bit.
