Before I picked up the book, I’d already watched the first three series of Slow Horses on Apple TV – and I love it! So I was ready to jump into Mick Herron’s series (I own the first three books of the series). I enjoyed the book, but it couldn’t hold my attention for more than a few chapters. Maybe it was because I’d already seen the show and knew how it ended.. or maybe I wasn’t in the right mood for it.
I will read the second book in the series in a few weeks… and I hope it will draw me in!
