If you only know RuPaul from Drag Race, this is a fabulous memoir of RuPaul’s life up until now. There are no salacious celebrity stories, just RuPaul and his upbringing, his rise to fame and his personal life. I love how his mother knew he was destined for fame when he was born and gave him a unique name. RuPaul laid his soul bare in this memoir and I for one think this is a great read or listen!
I read the audiobook which is read by RuPaul himself and highly recommend it.
