The Spy Coast is about Maggie Bird, a farmer in Maine, but is she? As the story progresses, we learn that Maggie used to be a spy and someone from her past is trying to murder her!
Throughout the book, there are flashbacks to Maggie’s past, the day she met charming, charismatic Danny, a British doctor, in Thailand, which is key to unravelling the past.
The book had me on the edge of my seat for a while, and though the end was kind of predictable (sorry, I guessed who was pulling the strings about halfway through) I really enjoyed the book.
