This is Book 2 in the Emily Wilde series.
Emily has just published her encyclopaedia of the Fae and her colleague seems to be jealous of her work, saying she’s made half of it up. Then some mysterious faeries appear at the university where Emily Wilde works and they seem to have to do with Wendell Bambleby, the half faerie who keeps trying to seduce her.
They travel to the Alps with the jealous professor in tow and this is where Emily tries to help free Wendell from his family’s evil plans.
I think I enjoyed this one more than the previous one – which I did really like as well.
