Hannah wakes up to carnage and glass everywhere. She was being evacuated from her school to an undisclosed location known as The Retreat but the bus she was on was in an accident. They are stranded in the middle of nowhere, in a snowstorm. They try to survive and get to the retreat without being eliminated.
There’s a virus outbreak in the country which turns the infected into zombies. I freakin’ hate zombies, they freak me out! However, I persevered and actually quite enjoyed this book. CJ Tudor is one of these authors that I will read without reading the blurb on the back – hence me being surprised by bloody zombies with this one.
I listened to the audiobook and the narrators were very good.
